Our teams

MiniRoos

MiniRoos provides an enjoyable participation experience for young people of all abilities with a major focus on skill development through freedom of expression, minimal coaching, and limited emphasis on the scoreboard. 

 MiniRoos are played in the following Groups to ensure access to all children to play in a team at a level suitable to them.  

Kangaroos – Players that have a strong grasp of soccer 

Wallabies – Players that are beginning to develop their soccer skills 

Joeys – Players with little or no experience in Miniroos and players that skill level needs more development.  

 In 2026 our MiniRoos will play as follows: 

  • Girls Competition – Played in a Home and Away format in age groups Under 7, Under 9 and Under 11 on a Saturday in the Geelong Region. 

  • Boys Competition – Played in a Home and Away format in age groups Under 7, Under 8, Under 9, Under 10 and Under 11 on a Sunday in the Geelong Region.  

Senior Women

With a strong commitment to supporting women's football, Armstrong United FC is proud to have fielded a senior women's team since our inception. After winning League Premiers and being Grand Finalists in 2025, we are looking forward to another successful season in 2026 with strong player numbers supported by an experienced coaching team. 

Our Senior Women Team play in a Home and Away format on a Saturday in the Geelong Region. 

Juniors

Our Juniors philosophy is an extension of the MiniRoos one. To provide young children the opportunity to explore football (soccer) at all levels in an inclusive, safe and friendly environment. To provide quality coaching and support to help them continue to develop and grow as both players and people. 

In 2026 we will be entering the following teams:

  • Under 13 Girls team to be played on a Saturday in a Home and Away format in the Geelong Region. 

  • Under 13 and Under 15 Boys team to be played on a Sunday in a Home and Away format in the Geelong Region. 

Senior Men

Season 2026 looks to be another exciting year for our senior men's teams!  After entering teams in all 3 Divisions in 2025 player numbers continue to remain high and we will again enter a team in all divisions.  

Strong player numbers throughout preseason and an experienced coaching group we are anticipating another great year of soccer in 2026 for our Senior Men! 

Senior Men play in a Home and Away format on a Sunday throughout the Geelong Region.
